Where is Ta Khmau Cambodia?
Krong Ta Khmau is technically not within Phnom Penh city limits but in the neighboring province of Kandal to the south of the Cambodian capital. Krong Ta Khmau is more of a commuter town than part of the city, and similar to Khan Dangkor it suffers a bit from this remoteness.
Borey in Krong Ta Khmau
As Krong Ta Khmau is not within the city limits, there tends to be fewer borey developments here than in nearby Chak Angrae Krom and Khan Mean Chey.
Shopping in Krong Ta Khmau
Again Ta Khmau town suffers in comparison with Chak Angrae Krom and Khan Mean Chey when it comes to retail outlets. Although once AEON Mall 3, Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall and Chip Mong 60M Mall are completed it will not take long to pop to any of these malls to shop.
Comparisons with Khan Kambol
The main advantage of Krong Ta Khmau is its proximity to the Techo Takhmao International Airport which is currently under construction some 30 to 40 kilometers south of Phnom Penh in Kandal Province. When this opens – it is slated for 2025 – you would expect a general increase in development in the area. In comparison, Khan Kambol is close to Khan Sen Sok with its established modern shopping malls such as AEON Mall 2 and Makro. Khan Kambol also has excellent connections with downtown Phnom Penh making it a great investment opportunity for anyone wishing to purchase property in Cambodia.
