Khan Prek Pnov is to the north of Phnom Penh, right on the edge of the city before it becomes Kandal Province. Here we compare Prek Pnov with Kambol.
Infrastructure in Khan Prek Pnov and Kambol
Prek Pnov is situated along Road 5 beside the Tonle Sap. The Prek Pnov bridge leads to the Chroy Changva peninsula, so it is quite convenient to travel from here to other parts of Cambodia including Oudong, Battambang and Siem Reap. The area also has quite a lot of borey developments. Apart from that there is not much infrastructure in Khan Prek Pnov, an area that is characterized by wetlands.
With the completed Win Win Boulevard ring road Khan Kambol has direct access to western, northern and soon southern districts of Phnom Penh. The new Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville expressway also provides access to Cambodia’s southern beaches. Kambol is close to Phnom Penh International Airport and a few minutes’ drive from downtown Phnom Penh
Shopping and Facilities in Khan Prek Pnov and Kambol
Prek Pnov has the first 7-Eleven in Phnom Penh, and is also quite close to the popular Sen Sok shopping district. There is little else here.
Khan Kambol too is a short drive from Sen Sok with its AEON 2, Makro and Chip Mong Sen Sok Mall. The district also has Williams Plaza and Romdul Market both within Borey Williams. As Khan Kambol is close to both the Royal Phnom Penh Hospital and the Royal Phnom Penh Golf Club it has good access to international health care and leisure facilities.
Conclusion
While Prek Pnov is a popular area for borey developments there is really not a lot going on here. Kambol in contrast has good infrastructure links and amenities, as well as property at affordable prices. This is an ideal place for you to bring up your family.
